Social Media and Stakeholders – Guide to respond comments

Social media and Stakeholders?

60% of Australians use Facebook accounts and half of all internet users live with someone who uses Facebook. Creating a social media account can be beneficial when inviting individuals to meetings, notify them of particular events, update them on project progress and even ask for input. You must go where your communities are rather than waiting for them to come to you if you truly want to engage with them.

Having a social media account for your organization or project gives you a good opportunity to exchange opinions and improve relationships with your community. However, having an open window to exchange opinions can sometimes put you in the spot with comments that you should be able to handle in the smoothest way possible.

You can have a look at this visual guide on how to respond to comments on social media about your organisation/project – from the social media expert Helen Reynolds
